Education & Activities

The CFN offers a number of activities to educate students and young researchers in its various areas of research.

Introductions to current research topics are provided on a regular basis through seminars organized by the CFN and its associated institutes. Professor Gernot Goll, Head of the Nanostructure Service Laboratory, will be giving an introductory lecture to Nanotechnology every semester.

The annual CFN Summer Schools focus on topics related to research areas at the CFN. Graduate students and postdocs from Karlsruhe, as well as from national and international research institutions, gather in Bad Herrenalb (near Karlsruhe) for four days of lectures given by renowned experts in their respective fields.
