Course fees cover participation in all lectures, single room accommodation (category ***), all meals and refreshments as well as all special events.
If you have to travel long distance, you can check in a day before your course begins, at no extra charge. If the course ends too late for you to catch your return flight or train, you are also welcome to stay for an extra night.

Unfortunately we cannot provide financial support to participants of the CFN Summer School for travel expenses or registration fees. However, if you want to apply for a stipend at your home institution or at a funding agency, we will be happy to provide you with a formal statement of your acceptance to the CFN Summer School. If you need any assistance, please address your request to Tatjana Erkert.

Registration Procedure

After receipt of your registration we will send you an invoice by e-mail. Please make sure that e-mails from the domain '@kit.edu' are not eliminated by your SPAM filter. Your registration is finalized when we receive your fees via our university account.

We know from experience that it may take a while until your payment shows up on our account statements. This delay will not affect your registration for the course. We will notify you once we have received the money.

If you have to cancel your registration, please inform us by e-mail or fax as soon as possible. We will refund your payment, minus an administration fee which will depend on the date of your cancellation.

Attendance for the CFN Summer School is limited. We therefore recommend to register early.

Arrival and Departure

Please send us your arrival and departure times via e-mail. This information will help us to ensure that the key to your room will be at your disposal upon arrival and that the front door to the Akademie is not locked.

If you change your travel arrangements after you have sent us your times of arrival and departure, simply send us your new dates, and we will correct your entries in our list.

The reception desk at the Evangelische Akademie is usually open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you arrive outside regular office hours you will find the key to your room on the counter.

If you arrive after 8 p.m. we will ensure that the front door (which is secured by an entrance code which you will receive upon check-in) is unlocked or that somebody will be around to let you in.
